Subtract the certificate’s face value from the cash price before entering it so the cents-per-point calculation reflects only the points you spend.

Can I include credit card rebate value?

Yes. Reduce the cash price or increase the program average to account for rebates like Chase Pay Yourself Back or statement credits.

What if the transfer bonus is capped?

Use the bonus percentage you expect to receive on this transfer alone. Large transfers beyond the cap should be modeled separately.

Does the tool consider elite status perks?

No. Add the cash value of free breakfast or upgrades to the cash price if you want those benefits reflected in the valuation.
